We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Albert Joseph Horvath (Williams Lake, British Columbia), born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Josef and Elsie; his daughter Yvonne; his sister Evangeline; and his sister-in-law Gaylene.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Edstrom; his son Richard; and his granddaughters, Mandee, Tamara, Dani-Addison and Jaidynn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu flowers donations can be made to BC Cancer Society or Canadian Angelman Syndrome Society (CASS) in his memory.

“I am sorry for your loss. My grandmother, Julia Hemmerling (Horvath) was also from Spiritwood Sask and my dad was born there in 1946. I think they moved away in the early 50s. Is there any chance we are related? My dad knows more but her parents were Benjamin and Elizabeth (Tihor). Seems too much of a coincidence unless there were lots of Horvath's in the area.
