It is with sadness that the passing of Georgina Barbara (Staves) Shields of Williams Lake, British Columbia is shared. Georgina, born on March 23, 1938, passed away on May 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Georgina will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Staves and Thelma Staves; and her husband Alvin Ernest Shields. She is survived by: her children, Raymond Shields (Valerie), Michael Shields (Colleen), Colin Shields (Hilda) and Linda Salo (Matti); and her grandchildren, Dawn, Amanda, Samantha, Riley, Erin and Parker. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
