He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Merrett and Gordon Merrett; his nieces, Dawn Othieno (Nicholas) and Sandra Fletcher (Evan); his nephew Ryan Merrett; his great-niece Mackenzie Fletcher; and his great-nephews, Logan Fletcher, Eric, Nathaniel Othieno and Lincoln Merrett.
