He was predeceased by: his parents, Prosper Rocky Michel and Cecilia Michel; his daughter Kara; and his brothers, Frank, John and Danny.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his children, Wenona (Jason), Jonathon (Angel) and Benjamin (Alicia). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
