He was predeceased by: his daughters, Della and Kristine; his granddaughter Mackenzie; his brothers, Merle and Barry; and his parents, Myles Hargrove and Gloria Hargrove (Vollrath).

He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his siblings, Arleen Nelson (Ron) and Melvin Hargrove; and his children, Lawrence Hargrove (Marissa), Myles Hargrove (Monica) and Lori Cavan (Graham). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
