We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Peter Thiessen in Winfield, British Columbia. He was predeceased by: his son John; his granddaughter Cindy Bandola; his daughters-in-law, Louise and Tracey; his parents, William Thiessen and Susana Thiessen; and his former wife Helen Harms.

He is survived by: his wife Lena; and his children, Jake (Edna), Jim (Leanne), David (Lisa), Roy (Michelle), Anna (Bill), Katherine (Garnet), Beverly (Patrick), Maxine (Dan) and Iris (Steve). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and, great-great-grandchildren.

The isolation imposed by Covid was especially hard for him to bear as he dearly loved company.
