He was predeceased by: his wife Frieda. He is survived by: his sons, Stan Jr. (Lynn), Brian (Laura), Rick (Tamara), Brad (Noreen) and Daryl (Amy); his grandchildren, Shawn, Christine (Kevin), Steven (Angie), Kyle (Jenna), Ryan (Felisha), Cam (Tina) and Jamie (Chase); his great grandchildren, Megan, Emma, Breanna, Simon, Mary, Logan, Rachael, Liam, Sophia and Olivia; and his siblings, Gloria Shape, Doug Luchak and William "Bill" Luchak.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
