Asta Kristin Smart Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Asta Kristin Smart of Alexander, Manitoba, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert (Bob); her parents, Helgi Bjornson and Margret Bjornson; her siblings, Gudmundur, Carl, Bjorn and Svava; her daughter Margaret; and her granddaughter Danielle.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Harochaw (Greg) of Winnipeg and David of Saskatoon; her son-in-law Darryl of Langley, BC; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Dean, Christina, Samantha, Jamie (Marlayna), Kristin, Owen, Cynthia, Kelsey, Michael (Remy), Justin, Jessica (Hila), Jared, Hannah and Bryce. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
