He was predeceased by: his wife Tena Toews; and his son Robert Toews. He is survived by: his children, Ruth Siemens (Laverne), Diane Schmidt (Al), Gerald Toews (Marilyn), MaryJane Toews and Richard Toews (Marjorie). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendrier Wiebe Funeral Home Altona Ltd. (216 Centre Ave E, Altona, MB R0G). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendrier Bergthaler Mennonite Church (117 2nd St NW, Altona, MB R0G0B1).
