She was predeceased by : her husband John Giesbrecht. She is survived by : her children, Wes (Velvet), Bryan Wendy (Susan) and Anita Once. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Donations in memory of Nettie may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
