As we bid Gerhard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gerhard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Klippenstein (Jennifer), Amanda Buhler (Abe) and Teresa Schiller (Greg). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, 1 sister-in-law.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Home (216 Centre Ave E, Altona, MB R0G0B3). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Altona Emm Church (158 2 St NE, Altona, MB R0G0B1).
