It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Yurett of Altona, Manitoba, who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Yurett and Etta Katherine Yurett (Little); his former life partner Elaine Yurett; his brother David Yurett; his brother-in-law Marshall Kinney; and his granddaughter Erica Klassen.

He is survived by : his wife Nettie; his children, Gordon Yurett (Terry), Ken Yurett (Wendy) and Barb Carmichael (Douglas); his stepchildren, Mike Letkeman, Tammy Friesen (James), Deb Klassen (Terry), Carole Tarnick (Shawn) and John Letkeman (Maxine); and his sisters, Linda Mary Fanjoy (George) and Darlene Kinney. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Home Altona Ltd. (216 Centre Ave E, Altona, MB R0G). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church (62 10 Ave NE, Altona, MB R0G0B1).

Donations in memory of Lloyd may be made to the Pembina Valley Humane Society.
