Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Peter leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He is survived by : his wife Verna; and his children, Barb Sawatzky (Jim), Darryl Heinrichs (Wendy), Leah Erickson (Konrad), Kendall Heinrichs (Anna), Crystal Loewen (Greg) and Karla Heinrichs. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Home Altona Ltd. (216 Centre Ave E, Altona, MB R0G). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church (117 2nd St NW, Altona, MB R0G0B1).
