Rodney left this world on July 7, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Funk and Helena Funk (Thiessen). He is survived by: his wife Charlene Funk of Horndean; his siblings, Judith Klassen of Winkler and Barry Funk (Kath) of Errington, BC.; his mother-in-law Iris Stapleton; and his brother-in-law James Stapleton (Laura-Lynn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
