Ruth Klippenstein Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2026, at the age of 94, Ruth Klippenstein (Altona, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Klippenstein and Helena Klippenstein; her husband John; her son Murray John; her sister Kathy; her parents-in-law, John and Henrietta Klippenstein; her brothers-in-law, Ernie (Anne), Martin (Anne), Victor (Esther) and Rex; and her friend Pete.
She is survived by: her children, Judy (Ron) and Wayne (Paula); her sister-in-law Helen; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Angela), Laura (Tim), Dan (Heidi), Dylan (Ashley), Cody and Brendan; and her great grandchildren, Brooke, Zoe, Connor, Logan, Felix and Solène.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Altona Mennonite Church (287 8 Ave NE, Altona, MB R0G0B1).
As her journey with Alzheimer's progressed, Ruth transitioned to the Apartments for Supportive Living and eventually moved into Eastview Place.
