He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Easter; his parents, Ted Wightman and Elsie Wightman; his in-laws, Herbert and Flora Easter; his daughter-in-law Stacey Wightman; and his brothers-in-law, Darrell Peterson, Gene James, Gary Easter, Dale Hanson, Bob Matthews and Gary Wilke.

He is survived by: his children, Shelly Rodewald (Jeff), Bill Wightman (Ann), Julie Ostberg (Carl) and Brandie Lazaruk (Tim); his siblings, Edward Wightman (Mary), John Wightman (Lisa), Connie James and Pat Peterson; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Easter, Donna Mills, Cheryl Wenstad and Kathy Wilke. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
