He was predeceased by : his former life partner Violet; his grandchildren, Michael and Victoria; his great grandchildren, Stanley and Laverne; his parents, Peter U Brandt and Agnes Brandt; his parents-in-law, David K and Elizabeth Eidse; and his siblings, John Brandt, Levi Brandt (Brunhilda), Paul Brandt (Myrtle), Justina Brandt, Elizabeth Loewen (Pete) and Helen Friesen (Bill).

He is survived by : his children, Jerry (Linda) of Winnipeg, Jerlene of Arborg, MB, Don (Dorcas), Ken (Audrey) of Polonia, Debbie Dueck (John) of Bulacan, Philippines, Mark (Jan) of Stony Mountain, MB, James of Arborg, MB, Jonathan (Tina) of Arborg, MB and Becky Plett (Leon) of Arborg, MB; his sisters, Alice Siemens (Ed), Loreen Siemens (Jack) and Leona Dueck (Henry); his sisters-in-law, Katie Brandt, Alma Eidse and Betty Eidse; and his wife Mother. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

The family requests that everyone in attendance at the funeral wear a mask.
