She was predeceased by: her significant other Martin Chanas; her parents, Stephan and Catherine; and her brothers, Walter and Martin.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Perija (Ivan) and Wayne Chanas; her grandchildren, Shannon Gosselin (Warren), Brittany Perija, Katrina and Brianna Chanas; her great grandchild Weston Gosselin; and her sisters-in-law, Helen and Winnie Chanas.

Frances was called to rest in the Lord's care on November 14, 2020 at Maples Personal Care Home after a courageous battle with Covid-19.
