It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Garry Szklaruk (Ashern, Manitoba), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Szklaruk and Mary Szklaruk; his brother Bob Szklaruk; his father-in-law Nick Michaniuk; and his great-nephew Burke Szklaruk.

He is survived by : his mother-in-law Esther Michaniuk; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Knowles (Jim) and Debra Olender (Bruce); his godson Chad Szklaruk (Janyne); his nieces and nephews, Kayla Szklaruk (Brian), Kari Jordan (Matthew), Nicole Lindell, April Bejjani (Jimmy), Tiffany Bergin (David), Kelsey, Kadence Lindell, Kemery Szklaruk, Haleigh, Max Jordan, Dior and Capri Bejjani; his great-niece Tory Atkins; his great-nephew Quaid Atkins; and his nephew Jason Budge. He is also survived by many friends, those relatives.
