He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold and Olga; his siblings, Norman, Edna, Alma (Bill), Clarence (Mary) and Herbie; and his nephew Darren.

He is survived by: his brother Bill (Rose); his sister-in-law Ruth; and his nieces and nephews, Dennis (Jan), Al (Diane), Carol (Joe), Ken (Coreen), Brian (Deborah), Karen, Kim, Cheryl (Mike), Greg, Lori (Ralph), Shannon (Carey), Cory (Darla) and Brent (Candy). He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
