He was predeceased by: his grandson Logan; his parents, Gabriel Pantel and Germaine Pantel; his sisters, Lucienne Yarjau, Yvette Foster and Angeline Pouteau; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Moret and Raymond Yarjau; his parents-in-law, Rene and Irene Van De Walle; his brother Walter; and his sister-in-law Lillian Van De Walle.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Connie Pantel (Dan Fehr) of Baldur, MB, Sherry Labossiere (Bernie) of Baldur, MB and Scott Pantel (Marilynne) of Baldur, MB; his grandchildren, Ryler (Katrina), Kelsey (Andrew), Kristin (Joel), Niomi (Tyler) and Calum; his great grandchildren, Reid, Wren, Hensley, Sadie and Myles; his sister Doreen Moret of Somerset, MB; and his in-laws, Edwin Pouteau of Mariapolis, MB, Donna, George Wytinck of Cypress River, MB, Andre, Linda Van De Walle of Winnipeg, MB, Dave and Debbie Rodych of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & extended relatives.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Willmor Chapel (415 Broadway St, Glenboro, MB R0K0X0). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. James Catholic Church.
