She was predeceased by: her former husband John Wiebe; her husband Lorne Knopf; her parents, Hulda and Ferdinand; and her siblings, Albert, Oscar, Edgar, Willie, Florence, Edna, Rosie Howk and Gloria Honkey.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Sobetski and Ernie Wiebe (Elaine); her grandchildren, Jeff Sobetski (Lori), Tammy Ryan (Douglas), Jason Wiebe (Ryna) and Grant Wiebe (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Sobetski, Katlyne Sobetski, Jaida Wiebe and Aubrey Wiebe.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (403 First St N, Beausejour, MB R0E0C0). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. At the age of 88, she was forced to retire due to COVID.
