He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeo and Bernice; his brothers, Romeo Jr., Robert and Lloyd; his nephew Rodger; his sisters-in-law, Rollande Murray and Valerie Payette; and his father-in-law Eugene Lavoie.

He is survived by: his wife Ivy; his son David (Leila); his siblings, Louise (Michael), Louis and Donald (Maggie); his sisters-in-law, Lynnette Bruneau and Cheryl Bruneau; his stepchildren, Stacey Rogers (Dustin), Kyle Rogers (Sheena) and Kevin Rogers; his grandchildren, Anita, Cain, Jude, Gabriel, Gavin, Dylan, Nya and Scarlett; his mother-in-law Hallie Lavoie; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Nesbitt, Mark Lavoie (Evelyn) and Dwight Lavoie (Amberleah). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews plus other relatives and friends.
