He was predeceased by : his father Bernard Holmes; and his son Connor. He is survived by : his mother Doris Holmes (Winnipeg); his wife Carol Tomandl; his siblings, Betty Laurencelle (Winnipeg), Leslie Fitzpatrick (Lockport), Ian and Bruce (Calgary); and his brothers-in-law, Ron Laurencelle, Ed Fitzpatrick and Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
