Elmer Barkman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Barkman (Blumenort, Manitoba), who passed away on March 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Tina; and his great grandchild Ian. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Garry (Cynthia) of Spokane, WA, Wanda (Bret) of Sharon, ON, Brenda of Steinbach, MB, Fern (Alan) of Zealand, NB and Donna of Winnipeg, MB; and his grandchildren, Carissa, Keith, David, Margaret, Jayme, Kevin, Kaleb, Shandi, Shadi and Leif.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G 1M1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blumenort Community Church (59 Center Ave, Blumenort, MB R0A0C0).
