He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan; his granddaughter Hannah; and his parents, Cornelius P Friesen and Marie Friesen. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his grandchildren, Mark Friesen (Christie), Jacob (Amanda), Riley, Morgan, Sam, Will and Ella; and his children, Tanya Friesen, Liam, Keira, Julie Williamson (Scott), Norah, Joe, Lucy, Lois Thiessen (Jonathan), Zoe and Layla. He is also survived by several siblings, their spouses, nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Blumenort Community Church (59 Center Ave, Blumenort, MB R0A0C0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and to honour dad, the family asks that you find someone in need of a cup of coffee and spend time encouraging them and enjoying their company.
