Phyllis McCorquodale Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2021, at the age of 99, Phyllis McCorquodale (Boissevain, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Don McCorquodale; her siblings, Beth Scott, Luta Orriss and Jim Patterson; her nieces, Allison Urbanowski and Betty Anne Turner; her nephew Gordon Patterson; her siblings-in-law, Helen Patterson, Bob Orriss, Doug Scott and Lorne McCorquodale; and her parents-in-law, Nelson and Clara.
She is survived by : her sons, Malcolm Lorne and Donald Glenn (Lynne); her grandsons, Jeff (Jackie), Tim (Melissa) and Hugh (Shawna); her great grandchildren, Jade, Athena, Cambreon, Deanna, Dustin, Kacey, Austin and Owen; her brother Ken Patterson (Darlene); and her sister-in-law Helen Hole (Barrie).
She experienced a wide variety of circumstances during her lifetime including the dirty thirties, the great depression, wartime, the polio epidemic, drought and most recently the covid pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boissevain-Morton Library or boissevain Hospital Auxilary.
