He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Burville Dayton Griffin and Gladys Guernsey Griffin (Tid); his sisters, Margot Griffin, Naomi Griffin, Davida Griffin Turton (Charles) and Susan Griffin Bürgel (Bruno); his wife Florence "Colleen" Ducharme Griffin; and his brother-in-law William Ducharme.
He is survived by: his children, Suesan Edwards (Le Mont), Maria Boudehane (Amar) and Christopher Griffin Darius (Karin); his grandchildren, Al, Kiera, Dane, Spencer (Mikaila) and Emma (Mitchell); his great grandchildren, Blake and Jace; and his caregiver Trina Martens. He is also survived by friends remain in his life, meet new friends and have old friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Matthews Anglican Cathedral (403 13 St, Brandon, MB R7A4P9).
