She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barber and Inez Barber; her husband Murray Slawson; her brothers, Graeme, Russell (Shirley) and Murray (Marnie); her brother-in-law Ron; and her nieces and nephews, Carmen Michelle and Rodney Ray.
She is survived by: her sister Lois Friesen; her sisters-in-law, Edy and Joan; her nephews, Rick (Dana) and Randy (Vera); her daughters-in-law, Sheila and Susan; and her grandchildren, Jamie, Michael, Brianne and Cari.
