He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Alaimo and Annunziata Alaimo; his daughter Nunziata; his sisters, Maria, Angelina, Salvatrice and Jessa; his parents-in-law, Angelo and Filomena Rizzo; and his brothers-in-law, Giovanni Sardo, Giuseppe Rizzo and Ignazio Rizzo.
He is survived by: his wife Francesca; and his siblings-in-law, Nicoletta Sardo of Winnipeg, Eduardo Rizzo (Enza), Salvatore Rizzo (Pilar), Onofria Rizzo and Rosa Salviroli. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
