He was predeceased by: his parents, John Assiniboine and Grace Assiniboine; his siblings, Marlene, Lorne, Alan and Darlene; and his niece Tammy.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Assiniboine; his children, Amanda Assiniboine (Adam Daniels), Lindsey Assiniboine and Raine Papassay; his stepchildren, Peter Beam, Adam Gordon, Cody Gustafson and Melissa Dunlop; his grandchildren, Sierra, Joshua, Lynniah, Kingsley, Arielle and Levana; and his sister Joanne. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
A wake was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge 111. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
