He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Arthur Johnston and Doreen Janet Johnston (Stuart); and his nephew Bradley Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Johnston; his sons, Brett (Trish) and Kyle Johnston (Jessica); his stepdaughters, Jennifer Desjardins (Chris) and Tiani Somers (Drew); his brother Brent Johnston (Charlene); and his niece Kimberly Harrison (Tyler).
