Though Doreen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doreen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her daughter Darla (Eugene); her grandsons, Jeremy (Louise) and Jesse (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Micah and Aliyah; and her brother Wayne Clark.
It was Doreen's specific request was that in lieu of flowers that we would practice acts of kindness, share a smile, speak an encouraging word and extend a helping hand to others.
