He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin and Maude; his wife Catherine (Sheba Hanesiak); his children, Georgina, Alan (Sandy), David (Cindy) and Douglas (Angie); and his siblings, Norval (Beausejour), Earl (Nanaimo) and Stella (Toronto). He was also cherished by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
