He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Smalley and Joe Smalley; his wife Aileen; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy "Ike" and Joyce.

He is survived by: his brothers, Alan (Donna) and Joe; and his close friends, Susan and Vaughen Glasgow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
