We are sad to announce that, on February 25, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Jeanette Catagas in Brandon, Manitoba, born in Valley River, Manitoba. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roseanne and Alex; her husband Gerald Ironstand; her siblings, Nellie, Margaret, Evelyn, David and Ernest; and her sons, Chester and Anthony.

She is survived by: her brother Mervin Catagas (Mildred); her children, Arnold Catagas (Celina), Lorraine Messing (Juergen), Norma Catagas (Rich), Dawna Catagas, Eunice Jordan and Vicki Catagas; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Ramona, Leslie, Deidre, Damian, Mark, Eric, Shane, Anthony, Stefen, Shannon, Ali and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Hailey, Jace, Hayden and Allison. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Donation in her name may be made to the Brandon Literacy Council, 129 - 12th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 4L8.
