It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wilbur Smyth (Brandon, Manitoba), who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Marion; his siblings, Ross, Kent Smyth and Yvonne Breakey; and his parents, Gordon Smyth and Alice Smyth.

He is survived by : his children, Diana Watt (Jim) and Randy Smyth (Lauren); his grandchildren, Jason (Teri), Brad (Heather Parsons), Tyler Watt (Kelsey Popien), Sean (Candice), Kyle Rowan (Ashley), Trevor (Malaika), Taylor Smyth (Machelle), Richie (Taryn) and Rhett Walker (Kaity); his great grandchildren, Ashton, Easton Watt, Sophie Watt, Bridget Watt, Hendricks, Louella, Jones Rowan, Tiernan, Finn Rowan, Audrey, Bennett Smyth, Titus, Isabella Smyth, Briggs Walker, Sutton and Watson Walker; his brother Ray Smyth (Alexis); and his sister-in-law Jean Smyth.
