Joy-Evelyn Cumbers-Wright Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Joy-Evelyn Cumbers-Wright (Brandon, Manitoba) is shared. Joy-Evelyn passed away on July 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Doreen Evans; her former husband Albert Cumbers; and her husband Lionel Wright. She is survived by: her sons, Murray, Alan (Debbie) and Jay (Shelli); her grandchildren, Elisha (Andy), Chris, Michael (Chloë), Nicholas, Stephanie (Tyler), Andrea (Julian) and Jenna; and her great grandchildren, Annabelle, Lily, Willow, Henry, Callen, Joseph and Prairie.

In lieu of flowers, we would ask people to make a donation in Joy's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
