She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Mckay and Irene Mckay; and her siblings, Garnet Mckay, Connie Noel, Olive Hart, Lindsay Mckay, Lorne Mckay, Earl Mckay, Deitrich Dowan, Tannis Antoine, Ella Rogers, Holly Mckay and Carol Mckay.
She is survived by: her sons, Tenan Mckay and Shaden Mckay; her significant other Kam; her grandsons, Aleston and Tavares; and her siblings, Crawford (Marilyn), Kennedy (Heather), Pierre (Jocelyn) and Millie Pashe. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews along with numerous friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the Sioux Valley Veterans Hall. A burial was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at the Mckay/ Dowan Cemetery.
