She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Conroy and Norma Conroy; and her husband Henry "Hank" Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Hyke (Kelly) of Redfield, SD and Joey Barnes of Lynn Lake, MB; her grandchildren, Jewel, Leta, Zoey, Kylie, Xena, Megan and Adam; her sister Betty Frost (Fred) of East St; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Scribner (Don) of Brandon and Russ Barnes (Connie) of Delburne, AB. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous close friends.

Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will take place at Alexander Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Mary Lou may be made to the Alexander Cemetery, c/o R.M. of Whitehead, Box 107, Alexander, MB R0K 0A0.
