We bid farewell to Matthew McLean (Brandon, Manitoba), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 4, 2025 at the age of 38. Matthew touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Matthew may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Matthew touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Janice McLean (Evaskow); and his grandparents, Sophie, Walter Evaskow, Ruth and Roy McLean.
He is survived by: his father Rick McLean; his significant other Chelsey Geddes; his pet Taco; and his sisters, Angela (Garrett Ronceray) and Amanda (Tyler Lepard). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memories Chapel (330 18th St N, Brandon, MB R7A 7P3).
The family requests that those who wish to make a memorial contribution donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) of Manitoba or Winnipeg Health Sciences Children's Hospital.
