He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Shwaluk and Michalena Shwaluk; his wife Lena Peech; his children, Diane and John; and his grandson Terry.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Bill Salyn; his grandsons, Jeff and Brad Salyn (Joleen); his granddaughter-in-law Deb Salyn; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Matthew, Piper, Falena, Rowan and Bennett Salyn.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church (927 Assiniboine Ave, Brandon, MB R7A0G7).
