Salvatore Scaletta Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Salvatore Scaletta (Brandon, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Giuseppa Martin (Bill), Ignazio Scaletta, Vincenzo Scaletta and Maria Maida; and his brother-in-law Francesco Porco.
He is survived by: his wife Carla (Reichert); his daughters, Andrea Woytowich (Will) and Jennifer Miles (Terry); his grandchildren, Julia (Abhi), Evan (Alice), Abby, Hannah (Matt) and Mark; his siblings, Angela Porco, Giuseppe Scaletta (Diane), Anna Scaletta (John Mooibroek), Ken Reichert (Barb), Alfredo Maida and Salvatora Scaletta (Giuseppa Scaletta); and his friends, Carl, Vern, Dan, Joe and Bill. He is also survived by 11 nephews, nine nieces.
We would like to thank all staff at Vista Park Lodge for caring for Sam with kindness and devotion after moving there in 2018 with advanced Parkinson's. We are especially thankful for the love and support we received during Sam's last few days.
