Satu Marita Speelman Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 18, 2026, at the age of 61, Satu Marita Speelman of Brandon, Manitoba passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Teuvo Hellesten and Helena Hellesten; her husband Chris Speelman; and her sister Sari Hellsten. She is survived by: her stepson Jason Scott (Maggie); her niece Marika Hellsten (Donnie); her close friends, Laurie Yeo, Connie Lawrence and Charlene McKechnie; Gill Speelman (Pete), Bayley Kerbis (Zaina), Kruis, Kohin, Amy Kerbis (Quincy), Curt Speelman Keifer (Arlene) and Conner.

In memory of Satu, contributions may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Brandon Regional Health Centre.
