He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander and Mabel; and his siblings, Margaret Orr, Jessie Stewart, Dorothy Bussey, Alice Olive and John Henderson.

He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Kennedy (Murray) of Calgary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
