He was predeceased by: his father George Chartrand Sr.; and his grandparents, William, Forestine Sutherland, Harvey and Olvine Chartrand.
He is survived by: his mother Alice Chartrand; his uncle Paul; his daughter Willow; his brothers, George (Dana) and Michael; and his niece Alissa. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
