William John Hewett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 86, William John Hewett of Carman, Manitoba passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Hewett and Teresa Maude Hewett; his wife Mary Louise Hewett (Halvorson); and his sister Doreen Barnett. He is survived by: his sister Diana Purdy (Ryan) of Winnipeg; his children, John Joseph Hewett (Brianna) of California, Matthew William Leith Hewett, Damaris, Santiago, Juan-Pablo, Catalina, Amy Marie Hewett-Olatunde (Jadesola) of Minnesota and Sandy Spencer Sutton of Lockport; and also, David, Donna of New Brunswick, Joseph "Bapoo" Halvorson and Mercedes "Dece" Halvorson.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the United Church (142 1 St SW, Carman, MB R0G0J0). A reception was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Northwood Cemetery (500 S Park St, Northwood, ND 58267).
