She was predeceased by : her parents, Steve Kawa and Anne Kawa (Zenchyshyn); and her sister Debbie Robertson. She is survived by : her daughter Nicole (Jim Berkvens); her husband Vernon McKerchar; her grandchildren, Gavin and Abby; her son Andrew McKerchar of Dauphin; her grandson Avery-Jae McKerchar (AJ) of Minitonas, MB.; her sisters, Karen (Bob Ross) of Russell, MB, Judy (Ron Neill) of Dauphin, MB and Linda (Les Chupa) of Brandon, MB; her brothers-in-law, Donn Robertson of Sandy Lake, MB, Ross McKerchar of Strathclair, MB. and Keith McKerchar (Audrey) of Strathclair, MB.; and her grandchild AJ. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Donations made in memory of Brenda to the Dauphin Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
