It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Bergen (Dauphin, Manitoba), who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Bergen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Laurie Bergen (Warkentin); his parents, Abram and Maria; his brothers, Jacob and Jake; and his sisters-in-law, Mary-Ellen and Catherine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Lage (Charles) and Dorothy Morin (John Frank); his grandchildren, Matthew, Allison, Lorilei, Nicole (Sébastien), Natalie (Benjamin), Natasha (Yann), Jessie (Melanie), Mégan (Phillipe), Louis-David (Gabriela), Joseph-Caleb (Camila) and Léanne (Caleb); his siblings, Corny, Martha, Albert, Elfrieda, Abe, Paulette, Tina, Anita and Dave; and his sister-in-law Teri. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Grace Bible Church (1910 Mountain Rd, Dauphin, MB R7N3J6).
