It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph A. Volek of Dauphin, Manitoba, born in Tilley, Alberta, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Elizabeth and Joseph; his brother Edward; and his children, Michael (Linda) and Jo-Al.

He is survived by : his sisters, Irene and Mary. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The War Amps, a cause that Joe was extremely fond of and supported every year.
